In the spirit of peace - James Rizzi has dedicated this painting exclusively to the Berlin Wall miniature edition, as a reminder for all the children in the world – still suffering from precarious political conditions.
The New York based artist is world famous for his friendly and peaceful artwork and pop art style.
Each miniature is precisely shaped in a scale of 1:25, following the original L-shape of the Berlin Wall concrete segments.
The artist designs are done with historical porcelain colours, using silk-screen printing, burned two times for brilliant glaze. Roughly 100 hands touch each miniature during the workshop processing.
Because of the nature of porcelain in the end each miniature is a unique item with distinguishing features.
