The wings of freedom, painted on the Berlin Wall.
There were several butterfly designs on the historical Berlin Wall, such as the famous picture on the Ronald Reagan Wall L-segment, now on display at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, CA.
Each miniature is precisely shaped in a scale of 1:25, following the original L-shape of the Berlin Wall concrete segments.
The artist designs are done with historical porcelain colours, using silk-screen printing, burned two times for brilliant glaze. Roughly 100 hands touch each miniature during the workshop processing.
Because of the nature of porcelain in the end each miniature is a unique item with distinguishing features.
Title of this miniature: Butterfly - limited to 1,989 pieces worldwide.
